Contribute FeedbackA restaurant in Katoomba offers a mixed dining experience, with some tables raving about perfectly cooked dishes while others were disappointed with limited choices and poor service. The ambiance, views, and decor are highlights, with a live pianist adding to the atmosphere. Mixed reviews on the service received, but overall, a good food quality was noted. Price points were considered reasonable for a traditional mountain dining experience. Some patrons suggest dress code enforcement would enhance the upscale feel. Overall, worthy of a visit for the views and the food quality.
Amazing restaurant with great food. alan the pianist who has been there for 40 years, completes the experience! can wait to come back.
The hotel is located in the hotel where we were, very friendly staff with a wide range of weeping and all courses were better than expected. Satisfactory dining experience
Spectacular view over the Jamison Valley. The restaurant is housed in a heritage property established in the early 1900s, so it feels like a step back in time. We had the 3 course menu at $85/person and it was great! Only thing missing is a vegetarian option in the main section.
Great view in an old heritage style hotel. The ambience was great, with a classical pianist playing whilst we were there. There’s a thai chef serving some tasty masamun beef, along with bistro classics. They do a good steak. Relatively pricy, but that’s the mountains for ya.
Literally eat the best we had as long as I remember! we had the scallop entree, salmon fillet and beef main and sticky date pudding. everything was absolutely fantastic. very friendly staff, timely and attentive service. many thanks for a beautiful experience.
