Golden Dragon Restaurant - Katoomba

Food was not bad. Just nothing special at all. The staff was fine overall. Atmosphere wasnt the best somehow.

Even a cooked blow-fly in my friend's schnitzel, and she said the schnitzel too was awful. Plus her 'salad' was just a few lettuce leaves too. My partner and I had lemon chicken. It came with a few wilted lettuce leaves and some rice and the sauce which tasted only sour. Only rice was ok. As locals we'll be avoiding this place for sure, until we hear it's vastly improved. I just hope they feed the bus loads of Asians that come here different food - otherwise they'll leave Katoomba with a really bad impression of our ability to cook.

The wait staff here were fantastic! the food came out quickly and was hot! We were only meant to stop in for a quick bite to eat but enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for an hour and a half! Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going back next time we are passing through

The food was tasteless & really just not good, having to spit some things out as it was cold or not cooked through. The service needs a lot of work & the staff are not informed about there specials that are being offered therefore you can not get them .This was the second time at this restaurant ones under old management & second time was under new management. I will most definitely not be going back

Restaurant has recently changed hands. Large menue with both Assian and Australian options. My husband had honey king prawns which he said were delicious and I had Satay Chicken. They Satay was a bit mild for my taste but never the less well cooked and enjoyable. Meal servings were of a generous size. Would definintely eat here again. Two meals for under $40 dollars good value.
