Arjuna Indian Restaurant - Katoomba

Great authentic curries and homemade pickles and chutneys, however, the samosas didn't have much filling. Overall, an expensive meal as they charge quite heftily for each small addition to the menu, eg. rice and naan.

Arjunas is one of our all time favourite restaurants which we return to again and again. The food and service are always consistently outstanding but Saturday night just took our breath away. The place was packed and overflowing yet Milind (the one-man band in the kitchen) still managed to churn out the most fabulous dishes from an extensive menu, while Razina and her staff ensured that in spite of the numbers, we didn't have to wait long for any of our meals. Have no idea how they do it! The fish moilly was fragrant and delicious, as were the chicken and lentils, green beans with coconut, and the lamb dish. The chefs choice entrees are not to be missed and the rose petal icecream and other deserts finish off a perfect meal. Family members travel from the Central Coast and beyond to visit this restaurant. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent Indian food here but just lacking more understanding of the flavours from the wait staff. Quick and friendly but not really up to speed with the mild/medium/hot equation on this visit. Also a little dark to read the small print on the menu for us hard of seeing;-).Would recommend this restaurant and will definitely come again though.

This is the best Indian food in the mountains. We are locals and tried another in Katoomba, previously and it was not a patch on Arjunas. Do yourself a favour and don't go anywhere else but here.

A Blue Mts local recommended this place to us. The food was fantastic. Large servings (usually smaller at Indian in Sydney), rich flavours, excellent service. Take a bottle of wine as they are not licensed. Wish they were around the corner from me in Sydney
