Located right on the main road in Kato Pyrgos tucked in under a massive tree. I only tried their sandwich for breakfast which was nice. The worst souvlaki I ate in my life!!! Raw And expensively paid. 2 pork skewer pies €10. A potato €2.50. A quick €2. Two soft drinks €4. A water €2 total €20.50. We paid €27!!! No proof. We visited today the taverna with my friend. Unfortunately we were very disappointed!!! We ordered souvlaki in pitta, tahini, 2 soft drinks and a bottle of water. Souvlaki was was basic. We were charged €27 with out any printed bill. When we came back to our hotel we decided to check the prices from there Website. The prices were €5,00/souvlaki in pitta, €2,00 for tahini and each refreshment. Unfortunately we were overcharged....

The Oak Tree, wow what a gorgeous Tree and the centre piece of a nice setting on the main strip of this small town, reading past reviews, everyone is entitled to express their experience and their opinion. My family and a couple of friends chose to try Dris and we were not disappointed at all. The souvlakia were tasty and the halloumi was devine, beer was ice cold as it should be and honestly, the service was good, running the tables was a lovely gentleman that under pressure was brilliant, helping him a couple of young local kids, probably family and boy did they keep up, well done to you both. Summing things up, we had a lovely evening and with good food, personally I will go again, your choices in Pyrgos are really really limited so treasure a good find.
