Pho 99 - Kathmandu

I am not very familiar with Nepalese cuisine, but I have to admit that the Vietnamese restaurant Pho 99 in Kathmandu is one of the best places I have eaten at. It is located in the Sanepa area and has an indoor garden where the tables are arranged under a porch surrounding the garden, which is convenient in case of rain. This was my first time trying Vietnamese food, so it was difficult to make a comparison, but all the dishes we tried were delicious and suitable for any palate. We dined there at night and the next day, and both experiences were enjoyable. It can be a bit challenging to dine out in Kathmandu, but Pho 99 was a great find. The stuffed vegetables, noodles with shrimp, and shrimp soup were all excellent. The only downside was that the service was very fast, but a simple gesture to the waiter was enough to ask for more time to decide or to delay bringing out the dishes. Overall, my impression of Pho 99 is very positive - I returned twice and plan to go back a third time with a friend. I apologize for the low-quality photo due to the dim lighting.

We had a great time, everything was delicious, and eating out in Kathmandu is not easy! Stuffed vegetable dishes (delicious), shrimp noodles, and shrimp soup: all good. The only downside might be that the service is very fast, but don't worry: just gestures to the waiter to wait while you calmly choose from the menu or give them a killer look if they try to take the plate before you finish.
