Muktinath Thakali Kitchen - Kathmandu

I was in Thamel for the last 7 days and I had Dal Bhat Tharkali in many places (mainly tourist areas around Thamel), just to compare them to South Indian Thali. But this place recommended to me by one of the locals is really great. The food didn't disappoint me at all. I enjoyed everything. Also the price of food is decently expensive. So don't compare. A great place to have some excellent Thakali style dal bhat. The service is excellent and the food will let you come for more. Very recommended.

I've been eating one of the best Dal B since I was in Nepal. I took a thakali veg set and it came with a good selection of supplements, such as curries, green vegetables, pickles or a sweet yogurt. You also fill your dish as much as you want, so you can have a filling meal. The price may be higher than other places (250rs), but the quality makes it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is well furnished and can welcome many people. I would recommend!

Whenever I visit kathmandu I always go there because of the taste they offer customers. This is actually Thakali Resturant and the rest of Thakali is just the name they put in their restorer. The service is beautiful and receptionist is well maintained and respectful. This is my fourth time in this Thakali Resturant.

Take the veg set and you won't regret it! Delicious veg khana set and veg dhendo set, with refillable rice and veg! Be aware that it s at FIRST FLOOR, not on the street
