Mo:mo Star - Kathmandu

I tried chicken momo, buff momo, chilly chicken momo, mutton brain and chicken thukpa here. Foods were so good at a very reasonable price.

Place is small and cozy. Can fit a group of 8-10 people. Momos are very good. I loved the veg cheese momo. Ambience is good but food comes late. It would be a good idea to order ahead if you are really hungry. Owners are friendly. Overall, a quality place with reasonable pricing.

Place itself was nice, touristy as expected in Thamel. The price was also OK for Thamel standards. We had three different plates of momos, chicken, buffalo and vegetarian which they each offered in four variations. We had one fried, one spicy (boil in spicy sauce) and one half fried (fourth option is boiled). Everything looked really nice and the momos itself were quite good I'd say, little disappointed by the sauce though. Overall we were satisfied. A remark: In general there are better places for having authentic momos, taste wise as well as price wise, we only found these outside Thamel though.

I found it through my search and wanted to taste some really good momos. But when I reached there the owner was least interested in even taking the order and the food was just disgusting. Those were the worst momos I had ever had in my life. I don't know what sauce they gave with it. The worst food experience in Kathmandu
