Fantastic, innovative cocktails, attentive service, amazing ambience, but food delivery requires a bit of speeding up (not necessarily fast because food quality is excellent and indeed fresh). Must visit once if you are a cocktail and beverages lover. Price per person: Rs 1,000–1,500 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.

A very good place to be. The drinks were nice, and the ambience is spot on, though I do wish it had a better view. The food portions looked a bit less at first but were actually quite fulfilling. The crispy honey garlic chicken wings were better than I expected, actually crispy-crispy and really good. The kimchi fried rice was average for me, so I wouldn’t recommend that one. It is on the pricier side, but honestly most bars and restaurants in Kathmandu, even the average one, cost about the same these days. Overall, definitely recommended. They also have a separate door labeled Barc+, which I’m really curious about. And there’s a kind of secret entrance; a couple of tourists were walking away when I arrived because they couldn’t find the door and thought it was closed, so I had to show them where it was. Adds to the vibe, I guess. Price per person: Rs 2,000–2,500 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Yes

After a super long day with work wrapping up at 11p the only place open on my KTM list was this so came by to make a toast to our anniversary. I showed up in a sweatshirt and while most others were dressed up the service was warm and drinks were very simply put: An old to Nepal in the 21st century. I tried the shots and followed up with another cocktail (something gin and pan which as it turns out is the perfect combo). They accommodated my teetotaler partner and gave him a mocktail taster set and his mocktail was really good too. Based on the drinks I’ll be back to pair that with their food too. Service: 5
