What Jane T doesn't like about Savannah Bar & Restaurant:
Staff friendly but inattentive to detail. Mains $30 plus. Food nice, chips as a side cold. Slow with drinks. When we went to pay there was an extra drink on our bill. When the bill was corrected we checked the tab and there was a 3% surcharge for Mastercard. This was not on the menu or verbally relayed when paying. Would not recommend. View all feedback.
We had dinner here on a Monday night….you need to book a table. It was busy but the staff did their jobs brilliantly and everything ran smoothly. They gave us water, took our orders and our meals were ready in good time. We had the Japanese chicken and salt and pepper calamari for appetisers, and a 9” pizza and the barramundi for mains. It was all excellent. Decent serves and delicious.

Very expensive for not very nice food. I ordered the pork belly, it was over cooked to the point where I couldn’t eat it. The beans were barely cooked and I’m not sure how you mess up mashed potatoes but they found a way. Tried to give this place another chance after a bad night 6 months earlier, definitely will not be back
We had dinner during the Christmas period, with the all you can eat formula at $60 per person. Not so many choices of food, few choices if you are vegetarian. Food quantity was not sufficient for all the people who booked. Not recommended.
We came to eat here and we’re pleasantly surprised. The cheesy garlic bread was good, the pumpkin and asparagus risotto was tasty and well cooked. We also ordered the curry of the day which was a chicken tikka. All up really good and given how short staffed they were (everyone is in Katherine) it was pretty quick.
