Captain Jack's Fish & Chipper

Thought we’d give this place a go, big mistake. Firstly, the flies. Omg they were everywhere, staff did not seem concerned. Alarm bells should have gone off. I asked about the chicken biryani, nope don’t have it. Hubby asked for a pizza, again, nope don’t...have it. Was told only making lamb and beef Currie with naan and no rice. I ended up getting a kebab which was disgusting. It was soggy and the meat was dry. Huge mistake.

Staff did not know the menu and could not advise on what was included in a meal. The burgers and chicken nuggets were over cooked and dry, the only saving grace were the chips. There are more cafes and fast food outlets available in Katherine.

If you want a bad lunch and a long wait you have come to the right place. Today they don’t have chicken,chips, sour cream and pizza. They only thing that is on the menu is bad customer service. STAY CLEAR!!!!

This is supposedly worth of chips. Not happy. Box not full. Questioned staff. They said we never fill up the box. Very disappointed

Hubby went to order Indian and placed order of chicken curry for me was told they didn’t make anymore so he asked for biryani again nope not a big seller. They stated they could do a lamb curry and a naan bread which no rice....They didn’t have what hubby wanted either and also no milkshakes , but they suggested fish and chips which hubby agreed to lol. When arrived home lamb curry was a round Chinese container Full of oil and lamb pieces still with bone. Small amount of sauce at bottom but oil over powered everything. Hubby said I could share fish and chips. Has a menu yet nothing was available, they told you what they can do. Would not recommend.
