It happened like this: We were in Kassel for the Documenta exhibition, it was the eve of my birthday, a warm evening at the end of August, when we wanted to go out and...eat some decent Greek food. We arrived at the restaurant at hours. After some minutes, we frolicked, as there was even a table in the biergarten available. We ordered popular Greek food such as Griechische Vorspeisen and Biftecki together with aperitifs, restina wine and water. The drinks arrived in decent time, but there was no food served to us. After about an hour, we witnessed chaotic moments at the table next to us, where a dozen guests were trying to sort out which food was whose. Three or four waitresses and waiters were very busy, carrying single items to and fro, but nothing to our table, alas. After an hour and a half, we asked for the bill and were offered an ouzo to swipe down the food we had never received, which we ahd to reject. We offered to pay for the drinks, but there was no bill available. Conclusion: There are more Greek restaurants in Kassel ...
