They are really Thai restaurant. I am Thais and all of the staff including chef come from Thailand. If you want to have authentic Thai food, this is the place you have to come. Every menu are taste like home for me. They can adjust the level of spicy so please tell them how much you want. Decoration is Thai style. They have English and German menu. All staff can communicate English well.
Bottom Line: Excellent food with sadly really tacky and dusty decor. Thai is one of my fav foods and I've eaten it in many different restaurants mostly in NYC. Thai at its best is infused with a deep and light and warm aura of aromas. It's almost more back of the nose than tongue. In any case, this place has it! Unfortunately, although the physical restaurant space is generously large and at one time someone put a lot of effort into decorating it with much loving detail, the current owners have let it slide into a dusty grey feel. Added to this, the lighting is cheap and tacky and makes everything look slightly grey and sad. One large part of the restaurant was just not lit at all, looming next to us in uneasy darkness. The tea lights on the tables are fake and don't fool anyone. Really sad because the excellent food is served in such a joyless and sad atmosphere. My advice to the owners: doesn't take much to wipe the dust off everything and put good warm lighting in. Then you'll have an international winner.
