Cafe Gourmand at Yama no mani mani lodge offers the best lunch on the mountain with friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere!
This is a must-visit restaurant when you come to Karuizawa - the galettes and crêpes are both delicious!

地元のそば粉を使ったガレットはサクサクで香ばしく美味しかったです。季節のメニューで中身はハーブソーセージラタトゥイユでしたが、前菜のサラダおよびラタトゥイユには地元の有機野菜を使っており珍しい野菜を美味しく戴くことができました。 開放感溢れるテラス席もぬくもり溢れる室内席も、どちらも居心地良かったです！
