We booked to celebrate my sons 4th birthday, staff were amazing for our whole stay. We stayed a while and never felt unwelcome. What Sounds Alive doesn't like about Birdie:
Ordered the Eton mess dessert and it was 1 tiny meringue with a lump of cream and a few strawberries. Definitely a rip off. They forgot the ice cream which left it just a flat tasteless cream mess. Quite disappointing considering the price of the dish Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
Great playground and food tasted good (some where better than others) but portions were quite small for what they charge. Friendly staff. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$120–140 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

Have been many times for lunch which has been enjoyable. Last week we booked a table for 7pm for a pre-Christmas catch up. Upon arriving we were promptly told the kitchen would be closing at 7.30pm so we needed to quickly order. I’m not sure why you would take a 7pm booking if you are going to rush your patrons out the door. The food was ok, although my chicken ceaser salad had one tiny piece of bacon. We felt very rushed to eat as staff started putting chairs on tables around us and adjusted the lights. We had no option to order deserts or coffees after so ended up having to retreat to the PK Tavern once we finished eating. Not our usual experience here but I would say as a suggestion to cut your bookings off earlier if the kitchen isn’t going to be open. Not a great experience for what was supposed to be a chance to catch up before Christmas with a group of friends that hadn’t seen each other for a while.
