A warm early summer evening, an atmospheric courtyard, a very good bottle of wine and an excellent menu for a perfect evening in the artist pub. This was the other day in the Daxlanden restaurant. The beginning made a glass of Chardonnay sparkling wine, which harmonized well with the greeting from the kitchen. We chose starter and main course from the seasonal map, in this season of course with the focus on asparagus. The asparagus soup offered creaminess, but also crispness thanks to the insert. The house-dressed salmon convinced with freshness, which was underlined by a refined cucumber salad. The risotto with asparagus ordered as the main course was granular and also creamy, the green asparagus set a refreshing contrast point. The beard liquor Gnocci, also with asparagus and parmesan, were cooked to the point, the beard liquor was just so dosed that the asparagus came well to fruition. The recommended Auxerrois was an excellent companion fresh, fruity and with elegant acidity. To the sweet conclusion came a classic cream Bruleé, rich and tasty with genuine vanilla refined and from the serving perfectly suitable for 2 connoisseurs. The Digestiv was also a highlight: a Apricot brandy by Scheibel, also on recommendation from the service, served together with homemade white coconut chocolate. A fruity velvety rage to farewell. Just as positive as food and beverages, the service is always attentive, careful and professional so you would like to see more often in restaurants of upscale gastronomy.

Great courtyard, eating fits the price, no star level but good up-market kitchen

My love would have tried me first before hunger, but then would not have been the least place for the great court. My sisters and I have the restaurant for all kinds of occasions, whether with man, friends or relationship. This restaurant has a real potential to become my new Tribal. Promter and friendly service. I think the whole staff did a very good job there.
