Restaurant Thai-Orchid - Karlsruhe

Very good and fresh Thai food. The host was attentive and professional. The portions were powerful. Good wine selection to go with food and a selection of additional additives for those who like their meals more spicy!

Some of my friends and I recently had the opportunity to eat in this place. This place was a relief after being fed with German cuisine for a few days. We asked them to make everything extra spices, and they committed themselves. My only explanation is that they don't accept credit cards, which was a great inconvenience.

Excellent Thai food! This is the best Thai food I had outside Thailand! The ingredients were fresh, authentic and perfectly balanced! I had the fried fish with basil and chiles and duck. Both were fantastic! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! If... enjoy authentic Thai food here!

We had diner at this wonderful place after returning from the circuit in Hockenheim. We were later then expected but were very welcome! Starters were very tasty (chicken saté but the main courses were superb! The duck with yellow curry is an absolute winner: try...it! Overall a great restaurant with great food and very friendly prices; thank you for a very nice evening!

Most of the staff are Thai but somehow the dishes that we ordered weren’t authentic. Padthai was watery and the noodle was overcooked. The basil beef didn’t use fresh bamboo shoot. But the taste was good. The prices are cheap and the portions are big.
