Holzhacker im neuen Schuetzenhaus

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, very friendly, very helpful. We had the Badische Frühlingsrolle both with shrimp and with vegetables and they were both very, very good. The Förster Schnitzel was very good so was the Asparagus (in season at the moment).

Our business group enjoyed a great night at Holzhacker im neuen Schuetzenhaus. The food was well-prepared. The Veal Schnitzel was my favorite. The atmosphere was very interesting, and the service was solid.

We were staying nearby and were looking for a place serving a genuine german wienerschnitzel made from veal! And guess what we'll come back any day for it! But that's about it.... The place is nice and a bit traditional but nothing genuine about it unfortunately! Prices are good and the staff were really nice and helpful! Defintely a 4TA worth kind of a place when you're looking for a genuine german wienerschnitzel in Karlsruhe!

We were looking for original wiener schnitzel from veal (calf) and couldn't find it! Most places have schnitzel from pork or turkey. Finally we were able to find this nicely decorated restaurant that is reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. Much quieter than a typical brau house, it made for a wonderful dinner. Topped off with ice cream and hot raspberry sauce with fresh raspberries for a perfect conclusion to our meal. We did not expect it to be so difficult to find original wiener schnitzel, but it is elusive. If you want the real thing, this is the place to dine!

We were with friends in a bigger group to dinner there. the service and eating were very good, we had quite different eating but all were very satisfied. the service was always friendly and had everything perfectly in the handle. in summer you can sit in the open (located at the edge of the forest)
