comparing the hikari with other Asian restaurant in shopping centers it is tasted in things, price performance, choice with distance to place 1. Unfortunately, all tables are occupied, yet you will also get to eat quickly at great andrang. View all feedback.
What Otto Gebhardt doesn't like about Hikari Asian Food:
the "hikari asian food" is located in a shopping center. we were walking near and had starving. I think for exactly these situations the hikari is excellently suited. already due to the situation, this does not have to align the claim of family-proof. the courts are to be picked up and ordered at the front of the counter. the hired were distant but nice. in principle, the service is hardly to be evaluated here. eatin... So first you have to find the right line to stand in. Then you order and wait (in one of those lines) or find a table to sit at. After your meal is flung together on a plate your menu number is shouted, no order number. Good luck if you can hear it as it is really loud with the people chatting, the open space into the precinct and the half open kitchen where quite a few cooks are at different stations calling out to each other. Then you get your plate of sub standard choice of noodles or rice with chicken/pork crusted/plain veg/no veg and one of the four bland sauces. One of us had the noodles with chicken. I should have taken a photo as the noodles were almost ok but the spiceless and almost tasteless chicken pieces were slapped on top. Fast food. And the other had rice and chicken chop suey with the Thai curry sauce. The veg was ok but far too many big and thick cabbage slices. The Thai curry sauce had barely seen the curry and was bland. The oil drops made it look spotty. Nobody was taking care of the messy tables as they were busy churning out plate for plate. All in all it was a stressing loud lunch with sub standard food without significant taste. As the precinct has many more places to have lunch we will not be visiting again and can not recommend it even as a takeaway.
Came here by accident. Ordered 2 dishes and did not expect much because this place is in a food court. We tasted a lot of Asian food in our lives and being in Germany and being in a food court....both our dishes were excellent. Fresh products and the dishes were prepared in front of us. Tasted really well and prices are average. Although some say this is just an average place, we ate 2 fresh, tasty and excellent dishes. Total price: 2 dishes and 2 drinks for less than 18 euros.
Of course we cook before their eyes, it is good, fast served, the right amount, it is clean, we eat pleasant, what you want more, intermediate, dish, drink for two people with a remarkable Calamari kitchen for 21 €
So I like to go to eat there (got!) the vegetables were halved, and somehow tastes of that ever worse than 5 years ago. I'm just going there because I'm on my own sharp sauce! but at most once in the month. save where they can! not great!
The sushi is average, but if you look freshly prepared and put on the band. what I didn't like at my two visits is that every time the bill went wrong. more expensive tellerchen are counted or you forget that the gast had the cheap lunch menu. infested? the rest of the most fried food seems to taste some way too. the load is not in the ECE center in the durlacher allee. I guess I'll get a visit.
