You can get to the tower by foot (which is a somewhat challenging but enjoyable walk), by car or by the lift (or whatever it is called) that takes you all the way up. I recommend the walk if you are a fit person and if the temperature is not too high. Otherwise go for any of the other options. To get to the top of the tower you must pay a ticket, which is not expensive. Then you have to climb up using the stairs. This is also somewhat challenging but on your way up you get a great view.

I have enjoyed the city view by stopping when ever I get tired. Meanwhile you will walk across some old buildings or it might be a fort wall from the past. As you reach the tower you can buy a lift or stair walking ticket to reach to the top. I took stair ticket and climber to the top. You get a breathtaking view from the top. It was an amazing experience. Please don't miss this place if you visit Prague.
