Talisman - Karangahake

Change owners who will treat their customers with respect instead of delivering wrong food, a bowl of chips, which we thought came with our food, and then the owner 's mother comes and snatches the bowl away, saying, you didn 't pay for it . Even though it was explained that we thought it came with our order. After being confronted about the rude behaviour, my friend was waved to the door and told to fu#k off . Needless to say, this place of beauty nestled in the Karangahake Gorge, which offers mediocre food, has a rotten core. Also, my friend would have paid for the chips!

I always love to call in here for a coffee, snack or meal after an adventure in the Karangahake Gorge. Friendly staff, great food and such a nice setting to relax in. A wander around the gardens is also worth it, just gorgeous!

Love this Cafe. Not only are the grounds wonderful but their food is yummy as well.

The worst coffee I have ever had, so bitter. On arrival we started to look at The menu then told it was only what was in the cabinet.The muffin ok but felt it was maybe older than today. Citrus slice was very good. Plus efpos was not working.

Beautiful place, full of trees and plants. Very refreshing. Had few lovely cakes, all very tasty. Thank you!
