The popular vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurant, previously known as Hotel Subhalakshmi Palast and then Hotel Abirami, has been renamed as Hotel Nalabaagam and Hotel Malar. However, the service is now deteriorating with delays in serving the customers.

This is a famous restaurant that recently closed..not for renovation. not postponed. simply closed. it was a good vegetarian restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. closed due to the competition from the newly expanded vegetarian restaurant (hotel new president) directly on the opposite side of the... this I understood from the administration of the hotel subalakshmi palace
