Leider war dieser nicht auf der Terrasse sondern... read more Wir haben hier meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Zum Glück hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert, denn es war sehr voll. Leider war dieser nicht auf der Terrasse sondern im wenig schicken Innenbereich. Der Speisesaal erinnerte stark an Omas Trödelladen. Alte Sofas und Stühle, keine zusammenpassenden Möbel und total überladen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und auf Zack. Sie konnte sich alles merken ohne Zettel und es kam richtig am Tisch an. Auch wenn sie etwas hektisch wirkte. Allerdings war sie die einzige Person die für das Servieren der Speisen zuständig war. Wir hatten Pizza, die Nudelpfanne und eine Steakplatte. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegart. Leider kam die Nudelpfanne erst 20 Minuten nach dem Rest. Sie mussten frisch kochen wurde, mir beim servieren gesagt. Daher können wir nur 4 Sterne geben. Wenn man keinen großen Wert auf das Ambietente legt kann man das Cameo weiterempfehlen. Doch sollte man Zeit mitbringen, da es immer voll ist und das Essen eine Weile dauert.

The food however, did arrive separately, my Schnitzel came first and a few minutes later my wife's lasagne arrived which was a bit unusual, the Lasagne was excellent, but the Schnitzel was a little dry.The staff were friendly and cheerful.The view from the outside restaurant was lovely looking out over the water with the Tour Boats coming in and out.I would try this place again.

Sie bedient die Gäste aufmerksam und schnell, freundlich und kompetent. Der Salat reichhaltig und lecker, der Wein ausgesucht Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Das Restaurant liegt direkt an der Klappbrücke und bietet einen interessanten Blick auf das Treiben im Hafen.

We were very positively surprised by the quality of our dishes and the size of the portions. Especially because the restaurant is not expensive. The service is very efficient, but not at all polite.

The message was that it was all full, But if we waited in the bar and had a drink ... then There would be a possibility. So we had a drink in the belief ! that a table was possible. After ca 20 min the bartender said that she was asked to tell us from the waiter that it could be a very ! long Wait But that we were Welcome to eat in side in 35 degrees . So we asked How long the waiting was? Estimated? It turned out not only could the waiter who had sent us to the bar say how long only very long. But There was also a couple a head of us?? All news to us. We felt truly tricked. So we paid up which was also a problem AS they didn’t want to accept a visa card. Cash only?? But finally we managed to pay by card. And we found another nice place. Message; the waiting in the bar a scam! So Sorry Cameo But You cant treat people like this!
