Barnley's Guest House - Kapenguria

The stay with Dick Barnley as host was great. The house away from home experience was fabulous, its picturesque settlers at home was cozy and warm with an evening fire in the living room. Breakfast and dinner all nice and served pleasant and with care. In the early morning tea with Colobus monkeys in the excellently maintained gardens was a treat! If you are in the area of Kitale, make a point to stay at least one night... You won't regret it.

We had an excellent stay here. The location has rooms in the guest house and separate cabins and even tents. The property is well managed with beautiful landscape construction and clean, well furnished rooms. The owner contacted us before our stay to check our food preferences. We enjoyed the food and stay a lot. The property is located just a few kilometres northeast of Kitale, Kenya.

Simply Exquisite. The blend of nature and antique furniture makes your experience priceless.

A friendly welcome at this home away from home set in green gardens with birdsong on awaking: we returned to enjoy the company of our hosts and relax before setting off for further exploration of Kenya.

A small piece of history. I have often visited Barnley's and enjoyed good company a comfortable bed and excellent home cooking. Lovely gardens.
