Bobby V's - Kapaa

I'm very special when it comes to vegan food that raised three vegan sons. This vegan spinach lasagna is worth it. I'll go back for another round. Primavera is Bland. Go for the lasagna or try another place. Mahalo!

They had clearly marked vegan options, but still haven't gotten a vegan bread option so that was a bummer. It was pretty pricey for no bread and okay food :

As a resident Im always excited to try places here that offer vegan options I keep going back till I’ve tried them all however for this establishment I can only give praise on having 3 vegan options. Unfortunately my experience was less than good. I had the Vegan Lasagna, was so excited then a big let down in flavor and portion then the price compared to portion size. From the service being cordial at best to hardly any flavor in the food. I’m not even going to give it another visit. Hope others have a better experience. Aloha

Bobby V's is an Italian style restaurant where you can eat in or take out in the Kapaa/Wialua area. It is easy to find as it is in the Coconut Marketplace. They have 3 great vegan dishes, as new residents here we have had and highly recommend all three. They also have numerous vegetarian dishes in addition to the vegan offerings. Their vegan dishes are moderately priced $9.99 for the spaghetti, $14.99 for the Pasta and Lasagna) and they are open from 11 to 9 daily, unlike other vegan restaurants in the area which close as early as 3 pm on some days.

I ordered the vegan lasagna and was pleasantly surprised that their vegan menu options extend beyond just spaghetti marinara. The lasagna was hearty, well-made, and evenly cooked (a rare find for me when it comes to lasagna). Overall, it was very tasty. My only wish is that they also offered a vegan bread option.
