However we were with Diane's Taxi and Tours and she knew an insider trick, they also have a bar, entrance is on the West side and it has two menus, the bar/happy hour menu and the regular restaurant menu. The prices were very reasonable, we had dinner for three and a bottle of Chianti fir $110. Diane had the garlic Mahi and liked it, though she did add some mayo. Kathy had a Mediterranean Pizza with a cauliflower crust and a basil sauce. I had a piece and it was tangy nice. I had the Greek salad add chicken; chicken was a bit dry, but they gave me two container of the balsamic Greek dressing, so I dipped the chicken and all was well. Service was good, wait time was good and if you factor in Mother's Day, excellent. I have been here before and ate at the covered outside tables, but when I return, I think I will eat at the bar again.

The food was great and the feel of mom and pop restaurant was definitely there. Pizza was amazing...the kidsate it the next day too.

We will definitely be hitting up BV's next time we come to Kauai again! I don't usually go 3,000 miles to have spaghettiand meatballs unless it's italy but dang...it's tasty!
