This is a hidden place, in an old building, but nicely decorated with some old concert posters such. The food is outstanding. I ordered off the Special board, which had not been changed yet. The owner made it for me anyway!!!! My first bite of salsa told me I was someplace special. It was home-made FRESH. At that point the owner told me that they try to do everything home-made. It was decent. Definitely a locals bar/restaurant hangout. Whole Fried okra is really good. Be great if there were a dipping sauce with it. Onion rings were great too. Fried chicken — one piece was over cooked the other was undercooked. Could be seasoned better. I asked for a breast and got a thigh so I didn’t really eat that much of it.
