My family, for as long as I can remember, have always had a standing order of 2 dozen donuts that we pick up every Sunday morning. They are easily the best donuts I've ever had, I've tried many, and there's no one out there that can best Fluffy Fresh Donuts. View all feedback.
I am not a morning person so I rarely get to visit any donut shops. I prefer the no chain type places when I do go out. I have been a fan of John Space Aged since my teens but it's been closed for few years now. I would say fluffy Fresh is right up there with John's. Fluffy Fresh just has basics but they do them right!!!! They do cash only, they don't do social media or anything requiring technology but if the donuts are this good who cares about technology. Hands down the best donuts in KC and honestly anywhere in the United States. I scout donut places when I travel and nothing beats Fluffy Fresh. Highly recommend to anyone and you must go to the mission location. Everything is done by hand and all products are made from scratch.
Visited before 7 A.M. on a Tuesday. Had very little to choose from. Glazed left a film on the roof of my mouth. I travel a lot and always try to find the best donut shop in whatever city I happened to be. For traditional donuts, Gibsons in Memphis is still the high bar. Duck Donuts for gourmet. The best I have found in KC is Hana's. The 2 glazed I bought at Fluffy's are in the trash. YUCK!!
