One of the best places to eat around this part of the country, and about the only place if looking for some seafood. It is small but cozy and a good atmosphere. Juke box is free as an added bonus. The french fries are great and they have tons of stuff to choose from from high end dishes (filets, escargot, lamb, crab cakes etc… down to sandwiches burgers. View all feedback.
What Kay G doesn't like about Cap'n Jack's Pub:
My husband had the lamb and loved it. I had the rib eye steak and it was disappointing for a $34 steak. It was quite tough. I couldn't chew 2/3 of it. I passed the steak to my husband. The green beans and mushrooms were very tasty, but cold. The waitress was nice to us, but the wait for our food was over an hour and a half. If you eat here, stick with the fish or lamb. My wife’s blackened salmon looked delicious and she ate … – show

Was working in area and found this place searching web for food. Definitely a place I’ll eat again. The rack of lamb was superb and cooked to perfection. Great service as well. No way did I expect to find food this good in the middle of nowhere Kansas.
The BEST seafood chowder.....the waitress with the crown royal face mask is very nice! Owners on-site, friendly, and interesting! This will be a permanent stop when we travel this way!
