Pier 29 - Kannapolis

Food is good. Service is sometimes hit or miss. No set hours so you never know when they are open!

Great atmosphere. great food, reasonable prices. very friendly staff. we'll be regulars there.

Pier 29 is what I think of when I think seafood!! This is where my wife and I go any time we are getting a baby sitter or celebrating. We have tried alot on their menu and everything has been excellent. The blooming onion is great, I love that they bring hush puppies out before the meal so the kids aren't going stir crazy waiting on the food. The captains platter is delicious and covers just about everything in the sea. The talapia with sun dried tomatoes and feta is to die for! Every time we go, we try to not eat too much and same some room for the appetizing desserts they have on display when you walk in....but we have yet to make that goal.

I have been only once but the flounder was excellent and the hushpuppies some of the best i have ever had. great service...... little bit of a musty odor due to shared smoking section but still very good

Pier 29 has the BEST salt pepper skinless flounder. Hushpuppies are great also. Whenever i think of fish, I think Pier 29. Great service and great value for your .
