Unfortunately, the... read more We received friendly service from our waitress, but we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence before we were seated. Unfortunately, the food was not prepared safely; there were issues with cross-contamination and inadequate cooking methods. The eggs were burnt, and it appeared that pans used for other dishes were not properly cleaned.

The menus we received... read more The restaurant has been remodeled, and everything is now a shade of brown instead of white, which gives it a dimmer and darker atmosphere. The menus we received were falling apart. Our server, Lynette, was fantastic—super friendly and attentive. She made sure our drinks were always refilled and checked on us just the right amount. It was the best service I’ve experienced there.

When we... read more When our food finally arrived, I ordered sirloin tips with medium-rare steak and medium eggs. The steak was cold, undercooked, and lacked a proper sear. When we brought this up to a different waitress (the only one around), she promised to get a manager but never did. Eventually, we were told that the meal would be taken off our bill. However, the chef yelled at us from the kitchen, insisting that he knew how to cook steak and that it was fine as it was, even trying to refuse to comp the dish. We spent over an hour there and honestly wished we had never set foot in the place.

We waited about 45 minutes to receive our food and everything was cold, as if it had been sitting for a long time before beingbrought to us. Also, both of my boys ordered chicken and it was really burnt. While we were waiting, you could hear the kitchenstaff yelling at the waitresses and refusing to make items when they were told that it was needed. Both boys asked for somethingdifferent because it was inedible and my mom asked for her food to be remade because cold eggs and pancakes are gross. We waitedanother 45 minutes. During that time, I heard the kitchen staff saying they already made the food and wouldn't make it again.When we hadn't received anything, I asked for the manager because I just wanted to leave and go somewhere else. I didn't want tojust walk out, because I did order drinks and wanted to at least pay for them. After about 20 minutes of waiting on the manager,another waitress came over and told us that the manager was on the phone and couldn't come talk to us, but that we could justleave and not worry about paying. It will be awhile before I go back.

The booths are fairly large with adequate spacing between them. I felt I had privacy even with others around. The menu is one page front and back. Like with everything, you will see a difference on the choices after the pandemic; however, I found the menu to still allow for variation in meals and includes all the favorites. Whatever they took off the menu must not have been that important to notice. I am sure all you have to do is request if you do not see an exact meal option that you chose in the past. I had a very nice experience.
