I stayed at Sandhurst hotel last night and asked where to get a good pizza from local knowledge is usually good , this time it certainly was it was one of the b... read more I stayed at Sandhurst hotel last night and asked where to get a good pizza from local knowledge is usually good , this time it certainly was it was one of the best pizzas i have ever had it was very tasty and had heaps of toppings it sounds a bit strange to get a pizza from a pub but it would out do a lot of pizza shops , next time i go there i think i will do a sit down meal there menu looked good nice and clean and friendly staff and also when i was leaving with the pizza a person was drinking and said hows your day going , the country you gotta luv it, next time i come here its pizza for lunch and sit down meal for dinner at Kangaroo Flat Hotel

The... read more Booked for a group recently. Was Sat night and very busy. Place was packed and those who ordered 15 minutes after us waited an hour and a half to get meals. They had karaoke and the bar with TAB and dining room all open into one which is unusual. Beer garden area at back was also well used. The food was generous, well cooked and all cooked fresh. Staff were lovely although very busy. Reef and beef steak was tough and overcooked asked for medium rare, was medium well.Hotel does Pizzas as well which looked lovely but also slowed the meals down, we could see the pizzas going out. Glad we ordered a cobb loaf which was lovely and hot. We ordered the pizzas next night and the take away ones were nothing like the ones we saw in the pub. Larger but not much topping. Tasty but not overly impressed with them.

The garlic butter was delicious and the ch... read more We both ordered the Scotch Steak and it was cooked perfectly (medium). The steaks were both large, juicy, and tender. The garlic butter was delicious and the chips were great. One of us had a salad and the other had vegetables, both were good sides. Overall, we would definitely come back again.
