Ermitage - Kandersteg

Well located at the bottom of the cable car and next to intersport where you are probably returning your sled to and walked past on most of the signed walks. Welcoming atmosphere nice open space but with lots of quiet corners if that’s what you desire. Wide menu choice and friendly helpful staff. Due to location price is on the upper side and beware staff recommendations as the sherry in the soup was a bit wrong but clearly was their favourite. Good service, quick polite and a job well done.

We ate a good Cheese Fondue with nice white Valais wine. Had some troubles getting a salad, because the grumpy owner/waiter of the hotel not think this was a good idea. Had a hard time convincing him that something veggie was healthy besides the fondue. Apart from the Swiss grumpiness we had a good time on the terrace.

Leider geht es etwas lange bis man das essen bestellen kann.Das warten hat sich aber sehr gelohnt.Sehr gutes essen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und gut bürgerlich, ist auch was für grossen Hunger! Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend, gut gelaunt und stets freundlich. Das Ambiente passt hervorragend in diesen Ort, hell mit viel Holz und passender Einrichtung. Die Kinder sind immer herzlich Willkommen, mit Kinderspielplatz und vielen Spielzeuge im Restaurant."Einfach Hammer"!

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung, schönes Ambiente, Angenehme Atmosphäre. Grosser Kinderspielplatz auch für ältere Kinder geeignet.Jederzeit gerne wieder
