After a 4 hour hike at Oeschenensee we wanted to have a good meal before driving home. Up at the See we could not find a proper place but right outside the gond... read more After a 4 hour hike at Oeschenensee we wanted to have a good meal before driving home. Up at the See we could not find a proper place but right outside the gondola station we found this restaurant. Benefit is that you could get proper food, meaning not just the schnitzel and pommes frites (they of course serve it if you want). The food was of great quality and the staff was very friendly. If we come back for a hike we definitely finish here again!

Welcoming atmosphere nice open space but with lots of quiet corners if that’s what you desire. Wide menu choice and friendly helpful staff. Due to location price is on the upper side and beware staff recommendations as the sherry in the soup was a bit wrong but clearly was their favourite. Good service, quick polite and a job well done.

The atmosphere is also nice, and the staff was very helpful and kind to explain the dishes. Reasonably priced, considering the region.
