The Cookery Bistro - Kanata

I had an appointment in the same building as the Cookery. Decided to get some breakfast on my way out since I'm never in this part of town. Coffee was excellent and the Cali Breakfast Sandwich was amazing. Toasted English muffin, prosciutto, avocado, spring mix, some sort of sundried tomato pesto... HEAVEN!

The only sandwich I've ever ordered is the Pig and Fig! Though other menu items do look good. It's just sooo good I can't risk trying anything else. It's my absolute favorite sandwich. The butter tarts and carrot cake are also to die for. The salads also look great but I've yet to try them.This isn't a large place but a real gem in my books.

A riverside patio, who can resist? The busy train trestle only adds to the charming atmosphere.

They only had one server working on Sunday, and they were very rude.

During a day trip to Paris, Ontario, we were very hungry upon arrival. We discovered a charming restaurant by the river with a beautiful view.
