Great place to come and have a few pregame beers before the game. Remember if you want any chance of getting a seat, go early. It gets packed really quick. Great selection of beer, great food and friendly people to shoot the **** with before you watch the flames kick ass. Enjoy! : View all feedback.
What Denise W doesn't like about Dutton's:
Came here during Stampede time. We were in the Saddledome and later wanted to go get food. So we came here and got chicken fingers and fries to share. They were good. But seems a bit lacking not sure what it was. Service was ok. Lots of people walking in and out. Its basically a pub and you need to walk through it before getting into the performance or show at the Saddledome. View all feedback.
Dutton 's is the kind of place where it is what it is due to it 's location. Any time you go it 's crowded because just like everyone else, you 're going to the game. You have to have a ticket just to get in. The service has always been decent for me. The bartenders do their best to serve you as quickly as possible. The waitstaff seem to make the rounds in a timely manner. The staff will also warn you about the length of time it may take you to get your meal. If they think you won 't get your food before puck drop they 'll tell you so you 're not angrily waiting for your burger while the game is on.
Located in the Scotiabank Saddledome and previously referred to as Avison Young Club. I 'm a die-hard lacrosse fan and Dutton 's is a ritual before every home game. For Flames hockey Roughnecks lacrosse, must have a game ticket to enter. With doors opening 2 hours before event start, it 's a great place to grab a drink and something to eat. Menu is limited, but food is good. Our ritual before lacrosse games is always and order of nachos. Last home game , the comment made when food was delivered to our table you guys are so predictable . Graham loves the burger, our guests have enjoyed the salad and the wings. Staff is friendly, food comes quickly, and seldom have to wait long for drinks. Lots of TVs, showing a variety of sports. Another awesome feature... Dutton 's is open for all 10 days of Stampede. They have a wonderful buffet for a reasonable price. Not alot of selection, but the food is mouth-watering good. Another tradition of ours... for over 20 years we have spent the final Sunday of Stampede on the grounds, attending both the Rodeo Finals, and Chuckwagon Finals. Our dinner inbetween is the buffet. (ok, now I 'm making myself hungry! It 's a bar in a sports complex. With all the Flames hocky games, no idea how I can possibly be the Foursquare Mayor (something which I expect, after I have included that info in this review, will soon change! . But for Graham I, for 8 home lacrosse games a year, maybe a playoff game or 2, and final day of Stampede... it is our venue of choice.
10.50 for a bud lite or 11 for a Stella or corona? Stadium prices for sure. Food is very average and , like 4 beers, 1 wine, 1 cider and a meal each x4 (not a great meal) 157.76. I'm talking chicken fingers, club sandwich, smoke meat sandwich and a rice bowl. It's a gouge and very apparent. Big miss for me. You have to at least, bare minimum serve really good food if you want to charge REALLY HIGH PRICES.
What a great but busy place. It was packed and to be expected since it was Valentine 's and a hockey game. Never have had dinner at The lounge but I was pleasantly surprised by what 's yet to come. We were seated in the restaurant and were with a group of 8. Ordered some bottles of wine as well as cocktails when we were seated. We were introduced to our two severs for the night. Our servers for our group of 8 was Kimberly and Sebestian. They were both phenomenal. They were always around to replenish drinks and bottles of wine. Kimberly never let our drinks get to half empty and made sure we were well taken care of throughout dinner and dessert. For dinner, we all had the buffet. The buffet was stocked. Everything from salads, veggies, potatoes as well as a few varieties of meat and fish. Prime rib, salmon, baked chicken, pasta with meatballs as well as shrimp and crab legs. We all loaded up our plates but not to full since we could see the dessert selection at tables near by. Oh My! Everything was fresh and delicious. My FAV was the prime rib, pasta salad and grilled veggies. YUM! The dessert table had a variety of cakes, pastries and the best a huge chocolate fountain with all kinds of fruit. I was tempted to just pull up a chair and make the chocolate fountain my new best friend. Loaded up with fruit, chocolate, a red velvet cupcake and a slice of cheese cake. It was all fantastic. I LOVED the fruit with chocolate (pineapple and strawberries were the best) nothing like warm chocolate and fruit to make dinner complete. The cheesecake was so good as well. I had to restrain myself from not going to get a second piece. What a regret, I really wish I made a second visit to the dessert table. The food, atmosphere, drinks and service were amazing.Thank you Kimberly and Sebestian , our amazing servers for making a great night for us all.
