Yong's Kal-bi - KAMUELA

After feeling let down by other meals at the resorts, I was pleasantly surprised by Yong. I tried the #24 combo and the #16 (fish boy), and both were delicious. Thanks to all the previous reviews, I can say that Yong's is on par with Korean restaurants in California. I completely agree—it’s definitely worth the trip!

Always fresh, hot, and delicious! We frequently stop here for brunch and lunch, and the pancakes are our favorite. What’s great is the variety of vegan options, and the chef is very attentive to vegan preparation in the kitchen.

Incredible Korean home cooking! We're from California, where we have plenty of access to Korean cuisine, but we found this place to be outstanding. We tried the garlic chive onion pancakes, tofu bibimbap, and the 22 combo, which included Korean chicken, boggi, and mandu. The tofu bibimbap was packed with flavor, and all the vegetables were either perfectly spiced or beautifully pickled. The Korean chicken was the highlight of the combo plate for us. The portions were generous, and the staff was very friendly. Are you coming in? I'm definitely considering it!

Exceptional and delicious food. I had the Boggi and Fish Jun for my friend! Both are very tasty and we love the side dishes! And we are so glad that they are pet friendly and have allowed our love? Apple? go to the restaurant with us. They even gave her a bowl of water! That's really sweet! So if you visit this beautiful city of Waimea, this place is highly recommended to eat!

Very good and tasty Korean food. The bulgogi and Kalbi were excellent. The kimchi and radish side dish were also tasty. We have been to this place every time we pass by Waimea on each of our trip to the Big Island. This would be our 3rd time here and we have not been disappointed so far. We love this place.
