Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - Kamloops

The restaurant is literally hit and miss. Sometimes I get great service and other times I wonder how the server and hostess even ties their own shoes. You can't go wrong on the deals they often have if you are a member. The burgers are...pretty good and they often have bottomless drinks, fries, salad etc. It is very reasonably priced and because of that they get all ages dining there. I am not a fan of a few key items like their onion rings and gravy but the cheese burger works for me and keeps me coming back.

Went with multi generational group for family birthday dinner. Food and service for the toddler was very good and he was entertained by crayons and placemat. Method of dealing with food allergies is to get customer to fill out and sign off on a questionnaire...via an app on server’s phone, and allergen was STILL served to that customer. Resulting in trip to ER and administration of adrenaline and steroidal drugs. Most meals had items left off that had been ordered and one order seemed to have been forgotten. Food is mediocre at best, spongy factory farmed chicken breast and farmed salmon, limited vegetarian options, lame salads. Beer of the day was good and well priced. Maybe the burgers are good, not sure.

There were four people at our table. We ordered drinks, but after about 15 minutes, a tray with drinks arrived and two of them were incorrect. Another 15 minutes passed before another drink arrived. Ten minutes later, our food came out, but one drink was still missing. One of the meals was incorrect and had to be sent back. Another order had to be cancelled. Once the correct meals finally arrived, the food was decent, but the overall service was terrible. We will not be returning.

Went there trying to phone in an order that we could take home, girl answering the phone , neither me or my husband could understand, wanted to order, first off it rang and rang and rang , like 15 times, then couldn’t understand her and...she said we had to order through the bar, rang and rang and rang, no one picked up so my husband thought he would go in and order went to the bar , no one there and the phone was ringing again, dirty dishes all over the bar , he left and told me no one was there to take order. Used to love their burgers but don’t know if I’ll ever go back here.

I took my son for a date night on halloween. We go to the red robin al least twice a month for dinner. When we arrived we were sat in chyannes section. She had little to no interest in us. She simply asked for our...drinks and food. For our mommy and son night, I wanted to do a 3 course style dinner. We ordered the shrimp and onion rings to start and a kids meal and burger with fries for my self. After we order I watched as our appies sat under a heat lamp for almost 10 minutes. She dropped them off and I asked for new sauces as some had mayo in them and I felt they were unsafe to eat. Cheyenne rolled her eyes at me and said 'FINE. ' When she brought new sauces our 2nd course arrived......we hadn 't even started out appetizers yet. The appies were ice cold. And my burger was raw along with my side of fries being cold. I also order a pint of beer which I only took two sips of due to it being flat. When I brought this all to chyannes attention she rolled her eyes at me again and said... how will you be paying? Are you kidding me?????? I just spent over $50 for the worst service and food I have ever eaten. Dont ever eat here....and if you do....dont get sat in chyannes section.
