Prime Lounge & Grill - Kamloops

I visited Prime Grill last Saturday and I must say that the steak experience was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy, and tasty. My dining companion and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Once I ordered my wine, the server brought out a leek and potato croquette as an amuse-bouche, and it was delicious.

Absolutely pathetic checking out right now after an overnight stay aug 14 2016 @ 11 am. Waited for over an hour and half with 2 young kids and 2 seniors ( a group of 6) pathetic staff in the restaurant who argue with you. Serving people who came after you. So much for being a family friendly place. Clearly saw people who came after us given cutlery and was told us we ran out of cutlery so only forks are available. Absolutely no other reason but to believe discrimination against who have some language barrier.

Service was fantastic, food was HORRIBLE. 1/2 inch rib steak ($38) that looked like was boiled and tasted even worse. Petrified zucchini that you could not even bite through. Just terrible. They did take the steak off the bill for us. We would not ever go back. Used to be Ric's grill...too bad it switched to this restaurant. Save yourself the bother and go to the Keg. Same prices and you'll be much happier.

We went to try this steak house for our anniversary with friends. We generally go to another place but it was closed so thought we would try a new place. The service was horrible!!! We sat in our booth with no drinks nothing for at least 15 minutes staring at each other. When a very unfriendly waitress went by dropping 4 water on the table. Finally another waitress came by and said are you ready to order. Really? We haven't gotten a drink or told if there was a special. We said no and ordered drinks. We were told our first choices were no available and selected other drinks. When we did order they had very limited gluten free choices on the menu for one of guests. But she did find something finally. Food came took awhile to arrive and when it did we knew why cause if sat waiting for service. All of our food was cold. Mine came wrong and had to go back to be corrected (missing the sauce) it was a disaster of meal. And prices are not cheap. You expect for $40plus a plate to get at least warm food. Dessert was delicious however and we enjoyed each bite. But the rest of the dinner was poor. The service and the food both cold
