Denny's - Kamloops

I always expect Dennys to deliver what they show in their menu pictures when it comes to their selections, as well as excellent service from the servers. This particular location has consistently met both of those expectations. I ordered the half order of Egg Benny Prime Rib, and it was both delicious and satisfying.

The Kamloops Denny's offers average, reliable food and better service, making it a good option for a repeat visit. The restaurant is typical of other Denny's locations, with the same menu and cooking methods. However, during our visit on Thanksgiving Monday, we were impressed by the competent staff who provided excellent service. We opted for items from the senior's menu, not because of our age but because we prefer smaller portions. The food was well-prepared and our coffee cups were consistently refilled. We appreciated that we were not rushed and did not have to wait long for our meals. Overall, for a restaurant with reliable service and decent food, we would definitely consider returning to this Denny's location.

I don't understand why there are so many negative opinions about Denny's. In my opinion, it's a love it or hate it kind of place, and I personally love it. This particular location is my favorite because the staff is so friendly and always strives to make everything perfect. I appreciate their menu, as they offer some healthy choices that actually taste good. The Fit Fare Skillet is amazing! Although they may make mistakes, they always make up for it and overall I think people are too hard on this place. It may not be a 5-star restaurant, but it certainly surpasses McDonald's in terms of quality and standards.

Not a great visit this time. Had eggs Benny, the bun wasn't toasted, the eggs and sauce were just warm, not hot. Service was slow. Must be a bad day!

I usually don't like settling for a Denny's especially when I'm so far from home as I figure there are so many other places to try.
