A&W Restaurant - Kamloops

Very disappointed. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered 2 mushroom mozza burgers and an order of onion rings. The mozzarella appeared to be processed cheese and had not even melted. Very few mushrooms needed lots of ketchup to make it palatable. Onion rings were another story. out of 7 onion rings only 4 were eatable 3 appeared to be covered in a thick cornmeal batter that was tough and inedible

This place is good for a quick lunch and go. The service is fast, the place is clean and the staff are very friendly.

Sent burger back as it was inedible. Asked for one with no salt. It too was extremely salty. Had to leave without finishing. My friends burger was exactly the same.

I have recently discovered that the A and W is an excellent place for a good quality breakfast at a most reasonable price. As well they often have breakfast coupons that can be downloaded to make it an even better bargain. The staff at the Kamloops A and W were very friendly, courteous and efficient. The choice may not be as extensive as a restaurant but they cover everything I want in a breakfast. The service was quick and the order ready in good time. Even the coffee was good. Also, there is no rush to vacate after eating. I appreciated the leisurely time to finish and enjoy coffee and conversation. I have been to other A and W's and none have disappointed. I recommend A and W's to friends and foes alike. Good quality, good value and good staff.

This A and W is right off the Trans Canada Highway, just as you head east out of Kamloops. The staff are very friendly. Not overly busy, so service was quick. They were able to accommodate a request for the sausage in an egg muffin to be well done. Seats about 90 people. Clean and fresh. Washrooms OK.
