There's usually a b... read more A very tasteful and relaxing café with a retro interior situated in an old Japanese home just a few minutes walk from Kita Kamakura Station. There's usually a bit of a wait and they don't take reservations, but I was lucky on this rainy Thursday afternoon on the tail end of the lunch crowd. When you visit for the first time, it can be a bit hard to find as it's set back from the road among private homes and there's no obvious sign. The menu is simple but healthy, very carefully prepared, and delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

(arrive by 11:30 to avoid waiting for 60 mins) Lunch items were limited to homemade curry rice and a few smaller items. (almost everyone ordered curry rice because it was the only truly filling item)

You can call us when the order comes. 3 groups I waited for two hours before opening. In the meantime, I saw Shiyo-hana of Senkakuji. The atmosphere is very nice in the garden and the interior. The shop owner has a calm atmosphere. We have 4 people and 2 people. Please come to the restaurant. I ordered curry and hot chii, pudding. The friend of the same seat is the soda of the plum wine. There is a little acidity, it is refreshing! It is good in the rainy season and summer. It is very satisfied with the taste of all. 14 o'clock to French toast, and I liked it!

(But it is a very popular place, and you might need to wait for a while depending on how many people are visiting. The restaurant is located in an interesting place where surrounded by temples and shrines. It is a small restaurant and it looks like a normal house at the first sight. The food was high-quality and it was nice but some menu meals are off from the chart in our time since many meals are sold out, which was sad but I guess as the size of the restaurant and the amount of people who visited it makes sense that it happens.
