Everything which i ordered was delicious and mouth watering. You have to check in before 1:30pm in order to get the mutton biriyani. The additional salna and nattukozhi kozhambu was great to the white rice .... dont finish without Karandi omlette. The atmosphere was not so impressive, it was a very crowded place, the service was average, if you are planning with family dining you may not get the single table, mostly occupied!

Best taste mutton sukka and special chicken 65 and the end part was with curd with honey this was the first time I had tasted and first time I saw this recipe. Thanks to the hotel team they were very kind and humble, l felt them like a family and had my food with the family. Nice endurance and good food

We are from Chennai. Due to a sudden visit to sankaran kovil, we, our family of 7 people with 2 kids, 5 years) had lunch unexpectedly on 11.6.2022 here. We had mutton biryani and lunch with all gravys, mutton sukka, fish fry, karandi omlette. All are excellent. My mother, who generally dislikes hotel foods, had praised every item. She even have acidity proplem but after eating there she didn't complained about such thing. The sukka and karandi omlete is good along with other items too. Unlimited meals for Rs.90 only. Very reasonable. Like most of the people positing here, they are offering items to your table, even you are not ordering. But they are not forcing. We simply rejected some items and even ordered some they offered, again too. All are tasty and easy to digest. Our kids also enjoyed biryani very much. Their service is very good too. The price is reasonable for their quantity and great taste. Unfortunately, we haven't clicked pictures there. We recommend this place to every one and definitely revisit this place when we go there.

MUTTON SUKKA AND RICE, this combination here can stand toe to toe with the best food combinations around the world. Tasty and fresh non veg delicacies marinated and cooked using homemade masalas is what you get here. The best karandi omlette all over Tamilnadu is served here. You'll leave this place really satisfied. Do visit this for sure if you're ever around Sankarankovil.

One of the oldest and best hotel to eat good food. Ambience may look ah bit old but the taste in food is very good. Mutton gravy, Karandi omlete can be considered as signature dish. They also serve you curd for white rice with honey. The taste is out of the world. This is the only place they serve you honey with curd. They will insist you to try. It may seem as odd combination but Definitely do try it. Best hotel to have lunch with your family and friends.
