Instead of traditional poriyal, they served potato matar curry which doesn't go well with the samber or rasam. The sambar lacked vegetables. As I understand, potato was never a part of Tamil preparation but many hotels have started keeping potato curry as an item in the South Indian thali. It is good with roti but I personally feel it doesn't go well as a part of traditional South Indian meal. Parking: The streets around are not wide enough to accommodate 4-wheeler parking. 2-wheelers can be parked with ease. Better to park 4-wheeler little away and walk down.
