My favourite place for delicious and inexpensive Japanese food in Perth. Quite small and not a lot space inside to eat, but if you’re not looking for anything fancy this is the place to go. They can also do takeaway for most of their menu. The food comes out quick and is always of high quality with generous portions. Cheapest prices around Perth for the amount and quality that you get. What Luna Lebsack doesn't like about More Rice:
I loved this place (previously reviewed) but prices have gone up (yes, that has to happen sometimes), size of some meals has gone down (hey, one or the other, not both!) and quality is going down a little. Still a good feed but just average now. Number of staff has increased and often phone is busy to put through an order. This suggests to me that business has taken off and they are getting more customers.Unfortunate... View all feedback.
The food at Shou is absolutely delicious. We placed a large takeout order for 3 families and it was prepared quickly and fresh. The presentation was done with great care. Japanese cuisine is one of our favorites and Shou is one of the best in the area. Oishii!
My wife always says that good food is worth travelling for, and today we did just that. We drove over 30 kilometers to Shou Kitchen and it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious and the small cozy atmosphere made us feel like we were dining in a little eatery in Japan. My Katsu Chicken was perfectly crispy and my wife enjoyed her Chirashi with a satisfied look on her face. We highly recommend this place!
I cannot overstate how excellent this restaurant is. The food is superb, delicious, and reasonably priced. The service is quick and efficient. I always come here, especially since it's a great find for a Japanese restaurant in the northern suburbs. We ordered the katsu Bento Box, shou ramen, and teriyaki chicken and they were all fantastic.
A hidden gem. Fresh and tasty ingredients. Make your reservations, there are only a few tables.
One of my favourite local Japanese joints. I have never been disappointed with anything on every visit. I always get take away as it's a small little place and always busy but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I particular adore the Katsu Curry and the miso soup. Bliss.
