What Denise Wegner doesn't like about Szechuwan Garden Authentic Chinese Food In Canoga Park:
Put on hold twice and both times was Hung up on after being on hold several minutes ! Called a third time and the owner says my girls work hard insinuating I was the issue !!! As a long time customer, I am offended by their attitude. If there is a problem with your phone , say sorry and move on and don't you dare say I was rude to your girls !!! Unbelievable View all feedback.
Great food, great serving sizes, and good prices. A little hidden gem in the Valley. The Garlic Fried Chicken is addictive.

I have been going here for years and was sad when they closed down during Covid. When they opened up with a remodeled look I was very happy. I really like this place because most of the time my servers are so awesome and attentive. I rarely get someone who has been having a bad day. Also this is the only place that I have found nearby me that serves Sweet and Pungent Chicken. Their daily specials are $10 during lunch and $2 upcharge at dinner but these specials are served every day. You can get favorites like orange chicken, sweet sour pork (or chicken), and beef broccoli (or chicken). They also have a great Lo Mein in the daily specials (although this last time they put too much soy sauce for my taste) but the server suggested the entree that is only 50¢ more at more than double the serving in the special (this is great for family style and if you want any to take home) but the smaller portion is good for a lunch size with an eggroll, rice (steamed or fried) and soup or salad. I definitely recommend this place for some good food, pleasant ambiance and lovely service. Vegetarian options: Veggies are fresh and you can ask for special requests if you have any other restrictions Wheelchair accessibility: Couple of handicap parking spaces with ramp for easy access
The Spicy noodle soup is delicious and the homemade noodle's are very comforting. Friendly service.
Horrible Phone Manner! I will Never order anything from this Restaurant that is not even busy any more!I called in to order 4 dishes to pickup because my friend is around the area I said “It’s Important, please make all food Less Oily”. The Lady I bet she is the Owner, who kept repeating 2 to 3 times to me that “You sound Demanding… what is important? …”. Then, I said “Sorry! I’m not feeling well, can you PLEASE tell the chief to cook food less oily?” Lady repeated again: “You’re Demanding … Of course, I’ll tell the chief…”. I hanged up the call because she is using a Very Impolite Tone to talk to me nonstop with “Demanding” repeat again again! I wonder myself “ask for food to cook with less oil is Too Demanding?” I called my friend to buy food somewhere else!
