The food, particu... read more Osteria La Buca in Sherman Oaks is absolutely amazing. Having previously visited their LA location, I believe they're part of the same family. The food, particularly the shrimp dish which I'll share photos of, was outstanding. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, they welcomed us to stay and chat for as long as we liked, and we left them a generous tip. Honestly, I recommend every single meal—they're that good. For a fantastic place to catch up with family or friends, I highly suggest Osteria La Buca.

We got the housemase ricotta, the octopus was amazing, extremely soft and cooked perfect and my fave is still the short rib ravioli. The grilled halibut was OK but I don’t think it was worth the price. One of the biggest disappointment was, there is no complimentary birthday desserts, but both locations require a customer to purchase desserts and then they’ll add a candle to it. it’s pretty sad regarding the overall experience on such a special day The ambience was very wallet with heaters outside. The only issue is that you can smell everything in the kitchen since there’s nothing separating the kitchen from the main dining area. Street meter parking or valet in the front or if you’re lucky you can find free parking in the neighborhood in the back
