Would be 5 stars but it took 20 minutes to find parking. It’s for great service, atmosphere, and great espresso! But it’s still just coffee. Can’t see myself doing the trek again to this place other than to see gen z hipsters. Still, if you live in the area, wonderful place and quick friendly service. What YB S doesn't like about Maru Coffee:
I tried the vanilla bean latte hot with oat milk $6.75 for 12 oz. and it was ok. I liked how the vanilla bean flavor was very subtle but did not like how oat milk flavor overpowered over everything. My vanilla bean latte just tasted like steamed oat milk with subtle vanilla flavor. I wish they offered soy milk as milk alternative instead of just oat milk/almond milk because oat milk/almond milk tend to do that to lat... View all feedback.

We’ve been coming in this coffee shop for at least 10 years and we love that they added extra chairs outside, it’s a perfect setup for people with dogs. as far as drinks, I highly recommend the cream top but if you want something lighter then you can order the matcha (no milk) and order a side of the cream. The best matcha I’ve had in LA. I got the almond milk matcha with cream top and it was worth $10. The matcha is a very rich and balanced taste with a hint of sweet from the barista almond milk. The cream top makes it creamy and out of this world. I felt like I was having a lighter version of matcha affogato. I did not have any coffee here
This place is crazy popular! The staff is constantly making coffee, and customers just keep pouring in. It 's definitely more of a to-go spot, not ideal for working since there are so few seats. You 'll probably have to wait 15 minutes for a seat even on weekdays. But the coffee is fantastic, so it 's no surprise everyone loves it.
