Kokio Chicken Dtla

A very unassuming Korean Fried Chicken spot in downtown! Dropped in for a quick lunch and opted for their Boneless Whole Chicken with Garlic and Sweet Spicy as our two flavors. So crispy, juicy, and tender! Definitely hit the spot. We were super surprised to find that every piece was dark meat. Even my friend who is a die hard bone-in advocate, admitted that these boneless wings were pretty darn delicious!Of the two flavors, Sweet Spicy was definitely our favorite! It had a great tangy kick to it and despite it being saucy, the wings still maintained some of its crispiness.

Delicious spicy chicken sandwich with tons of chicken. Unfortunately the shop looks a little run down and there are transients all around but the sandwich was worth it.

Chicken here is fresh and delicious. Will order again soon.

Food and staff were great. Will definitely return and recommend. Location of the establishment isn't the best but the staff was very kind and inviting.

I called at 10:50 AM, 10mins earlier than the regular open time, and ordered a few things for delivery to get it sooner. However, the food arrived more than an hour later even though my location is about 5 mins drive from the store. All the food got cold; the french fries were soggy and cold. Never order delivery from this downtown location. You will regret it when you receive your chicken. If the owner doesn't fix this problem, it will be hard to maintain their business in this era.
