If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would. Came here with some friends, and we ordered a few different dishes, and each one was better than the next. The jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and the kkanpunggi (spicy friend chicken) were the absolute headliners for the meal. By far my favorite Korean restaurant to date. View all feedback.
What B Gilmore doesn't like about Hong Kong Banjum By Paik's Noodle:
Awful. The veggie fried rice left a gross oily film in my mouth. The staff definitely prefers Asian customers. We got none of the good service others got. Nice little noodle shop serving Korean noodle and kimchee dishes. My wife got the regular jiajangmyong. I made the mistake of ordering the jiajangbap and really missed having the noodles. Also had the sweet and sour pork, and it was just ok, but nothing special. I would also say prices were slightly on the high side.
Loved the food so much! The low key atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed day.
One of the best Jjampong franchise. If you are into Korean food, you need to try it. We ordered 4pcs dumpling, so the plate looks missing something. Dumpling is nothing special but it is well matched to go with Jjampong.
