I'm patiently waiting for them to reopen again. This is the only Chinese food place that I have trouble picking a dish because of the vast options for vegetarians. Last time I visited I had to ask for the veggie menu, but worth it. I am obsessed with the texture of their veg orange chickn, it could fool some into thinking its the real thing. The kung pow, tho lacking the chicken texture is just so delicious I always... View all feedback.
What Helmi Samara doesn't like about Golden China:
A little expensive for the quality of food. Express style food, was ready quick. Sesame beef was good. Orange chicken was really chewy and tasted old. The “crab Rangoon” isn’t crab Rangoon. It’s fried onion without cream cheese or crab/immitation meat. Way overpriced View all feedback.
The kung pow, tho lacking the chicken texture is just so delicious I always struggle to try new dishes as I love these so much. They're always quick and affordable. I was upset to hear about the fire in the strip. I hope they're back soon as I haven't found another place with the same options.
Super delighted to have found a Chinese restaurant that offers a hearty vegan menu selection just around the corner. For my first visit I ordered Vegetable Chow Mein and Sweet Sour Chicken, both vegan of course. What a delight, the flavors of americanized Chinese food that I haven't experienced since gaining compassion. Very well done if I may say so. I will return again to try many more of their vegan offerings and will tell my friends!
Our favorite Chinese food restaurant is CLOSED due to fire in neighboring store in strip mall!
One of the only Chinese food options in this part of town but it is the BEST. The owner Jack is so sweet—I pickup instead of have it delivered just to say hi.
This place I've been coming here since the 90's, and it sucks now really bad. I wouldn't even give it one star now. Very rude also.
