Very traditional Korean tasty restaurant. It is not fancy or good for talking. It is best fill your stomach with delicious korean food. I love Budae-ggigae. The free side dishes are awesome and they refill for free. Chunju is known city for good food in Korea. This provides the same quality in LA. View all feedback.
What Justin Kim doesn't like about Chunju Han-il Kwan:
Terrible valet service. 12/23 Around 9:15 PM the valet parks his own vehicle in a handicapped spot and refused to move it for my mother that has a handicap placard (she is going through chemotherapy and has had multiple surgeries). He acted disrespectful and mouthed her off saying it wasn't her business. He should not have a job here. View all feedback.
Nice service! Nice food! I love the oyster pancake and army stew

Good Korean foods, I like it and the place not too crowded..
Their braised cod was delicious although a little bit light on the fish compared to their OC competitors that serve the same dish. Parking is $5 valet. Service is lovely and banchan is solid.
This little hole in the wall joint is in a very busy area because it is right next-door to Chapman Plaza, which is the hottest plaza in all of Koreatown. There is a small lot but they do charge for valet so if you can try to find street parking. The menu here is very straightforward and has all of your favorite shareable dishes. I usually go for the galbi tang and a hot stone bibimbap. The other shareable soups come in large portions definitely good for parties of two or more. You can already tell by the ladies that work there that they are the OGs and the banchan and food is going to be authentic. For those that don’t know you can always ask for hot water if you prefer it over cold water. This is great for a quick lunch spot or if you’re craving some soup for the soul in the evening as well!
