Champion’s Curry

Maybe one of the best Japanese curries I've ever had. The flavors in the curry and quality of the rice were the on par with dishes I've had in Japan. Only thing is in Japan, such a dish would be significantly cheaper but that's goes for any restaurant in this country compared to there. I was surprised the spicy option was genuinely spicy. I always choose spicy when ordering Japanese food because they're never actually spicy anyway and are basically mild. This was fire. Loved it though.

Used to be self serving restaurants and good curry restaurants. But why you need to wait for seating for a fast restaurant??? Only order delivery now on.

Tried the spicy chicken Katsu curry and have only good things to say. The breading was crispy, crunchy, and tender. The curry, surprisingly, had a good spicy kick to it. The restaurant was clean and well kept.The katsu salad was light, refreshing, and tasty. Didn’t feel heavy after eating it and the dressing it had was yummy and different. Great service but the waitress who attended us on 11/14. Would come back again.

Really good and unique curry. It's heartier than your normal Japanese curry as it contains more flavor and meat bits. I personally like spicy food and their spicy curry actually has a kick! I usually get the chicken katsu curry spicy. The chicken always comes out really tender. Highly recommend giving this place a try.If you order delivery, the curry comes separated from the chicken and rice, so it doesn't get soggy.

The double hamburger curry rice is so good, so filling. The hamburger is cooked to absolute perfection each time. Now that I moved from DTLA, I am really missing this place. If there is a branch opened in the eastern side of LA or in Orange county, I will ditch my keto diet in a heart beat.
